The beauty and vastness of the rolling fields are hard to describe in words. Cattle ranches spanning thousands of hectares create the ideal terrain to test the skills and temperament of your Criollo horse.
Located in the Southern Region of Brazil, in the State of Santa Catarina, this area is little known even to its neighboring southern states.
The Coxilha Rica occupies a plateau with an area of 100 km², over 1,000 meters in altitude, where cattle ranches dominate the landscape along with the region's typical flora, rivers, and waterfalls.
The tradition of European pioneers who arrived there, combined with that of the drovers who passed through the Caminho das Tropas, transporting goods from Rio Grande do Sul to São Paulo in the 18th century, creates a melting pot of culture, customs, and gastronomy throughout the region.
Therefore, Coxilha Rica is a region well-suited for horseback travel. We are privileged to traverse this area as the pioneers and current inhabitants did, enjoying the intimacy of their homes and traditions.
